| Whining Anyone have any experience dealing with whining? Lately, Isis seems to whine for no reason; meaning she'll be lying down and later just whine. She won't ask for anything, look for affection etc...she'll just start making noise... |

| Re: Whining I'm not trying to be avoid your question here, but please explain a bit more. When you say she's laying down, is she asleep, changing positions, what? Is she panting? Whining could be a sign that she's in pain. Whining could also be her way of just wanting to get some attention and ready for play. Does she have any problems eating, peeing, moving when she gets up? My male "whines" when he's ready to rock and roll and be playful. It's his way of "talking" to me to say "let's get it on and let the fun begin".

| Re: Whining Well then, I have no idea if nothing is going on and everything seems normal. Sorry. Maybe she's just a talker. No clue.

| Re: Whining My only thought is that maybe she is bored? I have noticed that Gary whines sometimes when nothing fun is happening. He may not even be looking at me to entertain him, but more like complaining. Just a thought! |

| Re: Whining i would like to add here that my 6 mnth old rotti went through a phase of that 2. mind u, 2 days b4 he started he took a very bad fall from the 3rd level platform of a fire escape. so i was assuming he was just in pain but kinda sounds like the same thing here. he would be lying down...doing nothing..not sleeping, not hyper or playful looking either, and just start whining as i said i thought maybe he was hurting so always comforted him but then in the next few days he was doing it more and more , for the life of me i couldnt and still cant figure out why..just outta nowhere...standing up laying down whatever..and i dont think he was asking for anything in particular either..as he wouldnt even really be lookn my way while whining..just whining. but it has seemed to stop now |
