Arrow Road trip brag.

This will be rather long. I want to share my trip experiences with you all. Not to mention brag BIG TIME!
I'll post this in sections.

For those who don't know her:
Josie (Josie Bear)121 lbs, spayed American/German mix full rottie, met parents-big and loving-took Josie at 8 weeks.
Josie raised by 6 y.o. fem GSD in house with 4 adults & 4 cats. Both were house raised. Ex & I split (friendly) and ex
wanted to keep Josie for protection.
Several weeks later ex called to tell me she was getting rid of Josie b/c Josie starting to challenge GSD.
I understood: I left-Josie now wants to re-set the pecking order. Ex wasn't physically able to handle her,
not that she resisted or challenged ex, she was just too strong and heavy for her.
I had to re-re-move to a place that would let me keep her.

Sneaky ex KNEW I would take Josie! lol

Asked in here what I should expect of her because of the change in surroundings to just her and me,
being left at home alone while I worked, etc.
Many suggested I crate her, understandable, but totally not needed. Fit right in, no anxiety, no chewing/damage,
no counter surfing (but ANYTHING with butter on it sitting on the edge is HERS!), no messes. Contented and happy.
I have always had a close bond with Josie and she always strove to be with me in the house. Now it was just the two of us.

Josie will heel/sit/lay down/stay/come/free on either verbal or hand signal commands. I can sit/stay her, walk half a block away from her
away, give her the signal to lay down and she does it, give her the signal to come and she charges right up to me.
I make sure there are NO other dogs around though because of her aggression towards other dogs.
This is also part of the story.

Now on to the adventures to come.......

That's great.... but can you please explain to me how she is a mix of German AND American? Was one of her parents imported from Germany?

Re: Road trip brag.

The lady we got her from had one of each. Basic biology from that point on. Maybe I misunderstood her when she told me the male came from a german line while the dam was American. But that's my story and I'm stickin' to it!
