| Re: suprising agression Maddie does this and she is 18mths old, I tell her in a stern voice drop or leave it, and she does it. Then I take it off her and put it away, she knows that if she starts to get possessive over her treats I will take it off her.
Mason on the other hand really means it when he has his treat, so I tend not to give high value treats to them, sometimes he is brilliant and doesn't mind you touching him and sitting next to him, then there are other days when he will not let you, so I am working on that, and like I said, he doesn't have too many high value treats.. I can put my hand in his food bowl and he is absolutely fine with that, so it is just the treats, that he is possessive with, not sure if he ever got treats at his previous home, I will never know.
