| Re: Advice Needed : Agression I know that this won't help you emotionally but it might give a little perspective. I am not a professional by any means but I have gone to seminars on dog behavior led by highly respected people and have heard things about in-bred aggression that are nothing short of shocking. One involved an eight week Golden Retriever who was violently food aggressive. They showed a video and the thought of that puppy growing up to be a 60, 70 pound dog was completely unacceptable. Expert after expert told the family to put her to sleep. Another was about a litter of three week old puppies at a shelter. They were so violent that all of them were put down. This kind of thing is irresponsible breeding at its worst. Whatever you decide to do, do not blame yourself for your dog's behavior. It is not your fault. |
