Only 2 more days to go before I can take Jett to obedience class and I cant wait!!! (vet told me i had to wait until 10 days after she's had her final vaccination)

How different are the bitches compared to the dogs!!! I have always had dogs, Jett is my first bitch, and i've been home training her for the past 4 weeks (have only had her 4 weeks). She will sit on command, sit again before she gets her food, play fetch (okay so she will only play it for 3 throws but she brings it back :laugh:) but try and get her to walk straight is like trying to pull hens teeth!!!! She cuts in front of me constantly and just will not walk straight. I never had any problems at all walking my boys (have had 3).

We have our first show at the end of the month and i am sure i am going to make a complete goose of myself and Jett So now i am just counting down the days until the first class, am walking her in our back yard at the moment (we have 1 acre of land) about 4 times a day (not long walks just just 5 minutes at a time getting her used to everything). Hopefully they will help me with her.

Maybe i am just getting old but she seems so much stronger than my boys ever were at this age.

Hey, I've had a Magnum also--and a Thunder LOL. Now I got a Zorro and an Angel!!! (she was already named though, if I had to pick a name for her, I would call her Vienna!!)
