Sleeping....habit.

Our 8mo rott pup seems to enjoy sleeping under the bed. Not all of him, just his head. After about 30 minutes or so he wakes up and goes over to his bed and stays the remainder of the night. Just wondering if this was a normal thing or do we have another weird animal in the house.

Re: Sleeping....habit.

LOL. I can sooo relate. Hannah lays in the backyard with her head only under the deck. She taught my latest collie foster to do the same thing. So you walk out, look down and see headless dog bodies laying on the grass!!

www.petedge.com (Type in goggles)

Well isn't it OBVIOUS?? The sunlight/roomlight is too bright! And it's cool and darker under there! Sunglasses would definatly solve the problem, I think. Migraines, maybe? Have you seen the new goggle style?

Re: Sleeping....habit.

Your lucky your boy picked the bed to stick his head under(I think). My girl liked to go behind the master bathroom toilet and curl up and sleep...that worked fine for about 2 months then ...uh oh!!!! she would no longer fit. So after a couple of days instructing(barking) the plumbing it needed to move she gave up and tried to eat the adjoining wall to make the space larger...smart little bugger! Then decided the bathroom rug was quite comfy..at 3 she still likes the bathroom and I find her napping there often when the house is quiet...Hope your boy doesn't decide to eat his way under once he becomes too large to fit..I think they make bed risers now...Good Luck..Tina

Re: Sleeping....habit.

This is funny. I never thought anything of it, but Nyla who is now 7 1/2 months has been doing the same exact thing for about a month now. It doesn't occur every night but I just thought she was just being too lazy from being a sleep in the livingroom and just couldn't make it all the way to her bed??? LOL
