What does your dog hide?

...and where does he hide it? I was sitting at my desk this afternoon, talking to a couple of coworkers and digging around in my purse for my keys. I couldn't find them, so I started pulling all the junk out and everyone thought it was so funny that I had a hoof and a few other little goodies Duchess hid away. Does your dog trust you with their stuff?

Surprisingly, Athena doesn't hide a thing. The only sign of anxiety she shows, is with greenies, because I usually give them to her right before I leave. So she'll take it from me and run to the bedroom and let out a little whimper. Then she'll run back to the living room where I'm all confused, and lay down to eat.

But I have a friend with 2 min pins, and the older one will steal his "brother's" and hide it, and then sit down to eat his.

The only thing Akasha hides are bones. She steals them from everyone else and then hides them underneath her, so she is the only one with a bone. She will chew each bone for a little while before going on to the next one.

Sajan hides his rawhide bones, only the rawhide ones. He walks around for hours crying trying to find the perfect spot. He does an excellent job covering them up with nothing:D

Tassilo tries to bury his ball in a corner of the room and is/was busy attempting to a dig a hole for it in the carpet (got rid of that behavior real quick) and secondly shoving it into the corner with his nose (still does it). Then he turns around and leaves. WHenver the vaccum cleaner comes out he runs around like a chicken with his head cut off trying to retrieve the "buried" items...

Julius really doesn't hide anything. He doesn't bury his bones or anything outside & inside he really just leaves everything laying around. It's really fair game for anyone.

:D Sable never hid a thing in her life!
Leave it out and let mom trip over it is her motto...

On the other hand there are a few things she's "found" that we haven't seen in years. Like my daughters blue arm sling...where was that for the last 5 years?

Rocky "buries" his bones around our living room. Like in plain site...and if you notice his "buried" bone he gets all whiny and looks for hours trying to find another "burial spot" for his bone.

He used to hide things he wasn't supposed to have but got that behavior stopped really quick!

When Tasha was around -
I had her kennel set up for her - since it was her "cave".

I had a fluffy blanket in there for her - so when she wanted to go in and relax in there.

One day when I was cleaning it out - she had a lot of "shiny" objects hidden under the blanket.

I found rocks, some missing crystals, some army rank pins, and some cat toys...

I don't know.. she was a collector of shiny objects :)

She was so silly!

The only thing Birdie hides is her ball. She doesn't always hide it, but sometimes she will take it and put it in between the cushions on the couch. When I ask her where her ball is she knows exactly which cushion she hid it under and she'll go get it. :)

Isn't that funny?!?! And if you (or at least I) notice that it's there...mine whines until he finds another spot to 'hide' his bone. :D
