Does "Spring" affect your Rotti's disposition?

Aussie's allways been a pretty mellow fellow.. I got him as a rescue last August, and he's been a joy to have around.
He's allways been well behaved until this "spring" arrived. He's a little more moody, and aggresive to other males, and, sometimes even with females. One dog in particular he has issues with is an intact male Shar Pei.

He's got a number of other dog folks in the neighbourhood a bit wary of him of late because he has been so "cranky". Of course, any of this unwanted behaviour is immediately corrected, but it's still a bit puzzling.

I avoid dog parks and situations where he can be close to other male dogs, but sometimes it's unavoidable.

Is this part of a spring "male thing"???

My old Shepherd used to get a little "wierd" in the spring as well, but then I lived in the country, so he wasn't around a lot of dogs like we get here in the city.

Aussie is neutered BTW.

I have never noticed any behavioral changes connected to spring with any of the dogs I have had. I do notice changes in the fall, though. With the arrival of cooler temps, all my dogs get (and have gotten) much friskier. Sorry, I'm no help!

Now that there is now snow and it is warm, Mercedes goes nuts! She always wants to go outside. She gets alot of zoomies and its very hard to keep her in the house.

The only changes I have noticed in either of the puppies is the fact that they would much rather be outside than in the house. Akasha is driving me crazy at this moment whining and scratching to go outside. I know she doesn't have to go potty because she was just out there not even 5 minutes ago. It is a beautiful day out and I don't blame her for wanting to be
outside.;) I have a few errands to run today but when I get home I am going to take "the kids" out to the park or for a nice long walk. We are going to either fence in our yard or put in a kennel so that they can spend more time outside this summer.
