| Tissue Eater I have an 8 month old male rottie, I have had him since he was 7 weeks old. from 3 months old he has been eating tissue off the ground, he grabs the first piece he sees and eats it, he does it so quick I dont have an opportunity to get it from his mouth. He also bites at the walls, even after i spray them with the bitter apple spray. He has plenty of toys he just prefers doing these things, any suggestions on changing these behaviors?:o |

| Teach him the "leave it" command. Two of my dogs love to pick the used tissues out of the garbage in the bathroom, dropping them here and there. I could put a lid on the garbage, dump it every single day or just laugh at their funny interest in it. Besides, I can always bait them in the ring with a used snot rag. :D How many people can say that? lol

| My baby does the same thing. She will pull keenex out of the garbages in the bathrooms, so we have resorted to putting the garbages up on the back of the toilet. She also pulls the toilet paper off the roll, so we can't put the paper on the roll anymore. Mercedes doesn't eat the paper, she just tears it up and leaves it all around the house and then sits happily and watches mom pick it all up. |

| Welome to the world of kleenex and litterbox tootsie roll eaters...um, I mean Rottweilers. :D Yes, I agree with Lauren. The Leave It command is very valuable. It has saved a rabbit or two and a small army of squirrels when we are out walking! :D |

| My Rotty Shanee. She loves to take the toilet paper and shred it. Then she will go get the news paper and shred that and when she is done there she gets the fire kineling and chews it up into small peaces and then my house is a real mess. The other day my hubby left his wallet on the stairs and she was eye balling it from upstairs and she waited till you turned you back and she came down and grabed 6 hundred dollard. My hubby never ran so fast because she would have shreded that to and i don't think taped up bills would work to well. :D |

| henny,I know exactly what you are talking about Johnny has the same problem, he eats everything and tears everything till now I am not successful in teaching him to stopthis habit, but i think you should keep him occupied by toys, but still a problem when walking him

| I always had a problem walking Shanee. She would always walk infront of me and pull. Well she is 10 months now and she finnally figured out that she has to Heal when we take walk, not just Heal in the house when i am training her. |

| The facination with paper for Mercedes is really quite a problem sometimes. She will pee on the floor every now and then, and cleaning it up is a bigger chore than it should be. I'll get paper towle and start cleaning it up, and she will attack the paper and grab it out of my hand and go shred it up. |
