| Irie lays like that all the time. She sometimes crosses them while laying stretched out too. She is so lady like :) Do any of your dogs "scoot" Sometimes when she is all stretched out like that she will scoot to get a toy that's in front of her rather than getting up and getting it.

| I posted a picture of my dog, Rabo, doing one of his frogdogs. He is OFA Excellent, BTW. This picture was taken when he was 4-5 years old. He's now 8 1/2 years old and still frogging with the best of them. He generally does the "tucked frog" as seen in this pic. But he will occassionally do the "stretched frog" for variety. My other dog, Ruby, only does a half frog with her right leg. My GSD couldn't frog if his life depended on it. Rabo the frogdog

| funny pose My boy has a funny habit related to this. He also lies with his back legs stretched out straight. When he's on the bed, to get down, he slides his front paws to the floor and keeps his back legs on the bed for a bit to stretch. Sometimes for a long bit. If you take that moment to scratch his haunches, he'll stay that way forever! |

| My female rottie lays like this all the time, everyone gets such a kick out of it! Her hip x-rays were "good" 3 yrs ago, however her hind legs have always been bow-legged and she cannot sit correctly (her legs go off to one side). I used to also believe that they would only lay like this if their hips were good, but as the years passed I learned that was not true at all.
