eating everything

Hi Murphy has been doing realy well but i have a problem that i have 4 kids that are trying to stick with all training of the dog, but sometimes like most kids drop things. poor murph has started to act like a hoover in this situation and if i try to take whatever it is off him he swallows it any tips and trick bar ban the kids from treats when the dog is about ...he cant start puupy classes for a few weeks till after his second jab at 12 weeks so any help would be apreciated. i am doing ten mins a day with the lead and sit and stay and he is doing great smart as a button
thanks
Jools and Murph :D

Why object to having someone clean the floor if your kids are throwing food on it? If the kids want to eat what they have, they shouldn't be throwing it on the floor.

Ok, I may be old, but I remember mom making us sit at the table. Even for snacks. Keeps the furniture and carpets cleaner that way whether or not you have a "Hoover". :)

Small amounts of chocolate won't hurt your baby. The chocolate that is worst for dogs is the Bakers chocolate not the milk chocolate in candy bars.

Not that you should feed your dog chocolate but if he gets little bits of it, he'll survive.

I had a 12lb poodle growing up (not my choice I was just a child;) ) that ate a hole bag of Hershey's kisses - he unwrapped each and every one of them and chowed down while the family was out. He lived to be 17 years old.

Relax.....

My only rule is that the dogs can't take any food out of a child's hand or lick their messy faces. Food dropped on the floor is free game! Saves on cleaning. With an 8 month old human baby, 3 Rotts, Hubby, and a full time job, I need all the cleaning help I can get.;)
