Crazy puppy!!!

What do all of you do (or did) when your puppy gets that wild hair and goes a little nuts?

I go through this almost every night with my pup! I know exactly what you mean!!!!

A few days ago, my pup just went WILD, or better word in this case, BISERK!!!! A puppy out of control! She was growling, jumping up at me trying ot bite my pants off, literally! She was just plain CRAZY!!! I've seen her have the zoomies, but this was unusual. We finally had to give her a correction to "settle." She was just full of it. Almost like a dog in high drive mode. I think she just had too much pent up energy and it was just that, too much. At 12 weeks she's strong!!!! She runs full force at me when we play and can almost knock me off my feet! LOL!!!! Puppies are too much fun. :D ;)

Xena is pretty good about settling if we need her to. I usually just put a leash on her and make her sit with me. It works out very well. If your pup is out of control, and not harming anything, let her get her zoomies out! :) I think they need to.

Luna's just a young lass still at 7-1/2 years old and hasn't reached the crochety stage yet, :D , but the only time I get to see the show nowadays is after she gets a bath! Makes me feel good that she feels good! :)

There is a specified time of day for that at our house, where our 2 year old brittany twins wrestle, chew, fight, run in circles, growl, whine or whatever. It lasts 10-20 minutes, and then it's quiet time!

They've done it since they came to live with us, and now it's the established evening routine. Happy dogs!

Razor is nearly 3.5 yrs old and I still think of him as a puppy. He goes squirrly when he hears 'go', 'walk', or 'jog'. He also has a ton of energy in early am and the late pm. Mind you, it only takes a few furious laps around the house for him to completely wear out! I find it hilarious--I hope he never changes:D

Bailey and Buster go nuts too. They need to get going pretty good a couple times a day. Six months old. It might be fifteen or twenty minutes and then they're out of breath -- smiling! Buncha clowns. Da dawgies!
