new cat aggression

our cat and dog have been best buddies for 3 yrs recently our cat waqs sick and was in the hospital for a month. during that time our boy looked for him all the time and if you would say wheres jynx he would get frustrated and star growling. now that the catt is back in the home he barks and growls ctrazily every time he see,s him we have been keeping them separated till the cat becomeas comfortable in the home again. i cant tell if its agression or if he just wants to get with him

After having been in the clinic for so long, Jynx no longer smells at all like the friend who left. Give time for all the hospital smells to go away and things should return to normal. He likely behaves somewhat differently also.

Every time one of my two cats goes to the vet, the one who comes home, gets treated like crap for a day or so, because they smell different, and act different... after it wears off, they are best buddies again...

:)
