Panting All the Time !!

Is it natural for my Rottie Kaiya to pant furiously all the time. She pants when it is warm which makes sense, but she is also out on the cool concrete in the evening and panting away.
Our other dog pants, but it seems to be not as much. I know she is a big dog ( 7 months old ) and when she pants her tongue hangs down more than our other small dog. Just wondering if it is natural. Also, she has lots of fresh water all the time.

Thanks
Mike

No, I do not think so. She is 7 months old and we weighed her tonight. She is 85lbs. But she is very tall and lanky. Her sister ( my sister has her ) is shorter and stalkier. I would say that she was skinny, but is now starting to fill in. She has about a pinch of flesh over her ribs.

She also licks everyone !!!

Does she do the same when at rest in the house where there is no stimulation? When she was last vetted, did the vet listen carefully to her heart? If not, I would suggest that you have that done.

Our 4 month old, Jethro, is a panter too. He pants at night when it's time to go to sleep. If he's not real sleepy, as soon as the lights goes out, the panting starts. I told my husband this morning that last night was the last night for Jethro to be in our room. I think he's just too hot. But, you know, our first rottie was the same way. It seemed he panted A o! So, I don't have any expert words - except to tell you that I know what you mean about the panting!

I posted last week about panting at night. My 4 month old is panting a lot. It was suggested to put a fan on him at night and he sleeps fine now with no panting. I noticed during the day yesterday he was panting in the house while he slept. I think he is just more hot blooded than our other one. I am going to get them a kid's pool so that they have a way of getting cool during the day.
