Whinning

Our 9 month rott has begun whinning in the morning, each day it gets earlier and earlier. Like around 4/5 I have let him out to go to the bathroom and he still whines when I put him back in the crate. We have tried to leave him out at night, but he wanders and eats things he shouldn't. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks!

He has figured out that when he whines you get up and let him out. If he is going out late at night for "last call" then he should be ok until you get up in the morning. If you don't want to just leave him incase he has to go potty wait until you hear him give up on the whining and then let him out.
