| BECC, You did the best thing you could for your pup. I just went back and read your posts in the Behavior files. I too have had to let two dogs be released from their demons. It is not an easy choice, but the best choice for you and your pup. He is now free of the demons that took over his life. You set him free and that is more than some people in other cultures would do. If not for your compassion he could have ended up living a life of anger and pain, being beat into submission or on the end of a chain being a guard dog. You gave him the gift of being free.
