HI Judy, unfortunely; I am having no luck with housebreaking Maximus,
. I have been taking him out after he eats, after he naps and I have pulled up his papers but he still returns to the spot where his papers were to eliminate. I figured at this point the only way this will work is if I take him out for however long it takes ( my luck probably 12 hours ..lol) & wait for him to go to bathroom. This weekend my boyfriend & I are going to take him out & keep him out for the whole entire day until he goes.
He is in dog obedence school & is doing very well with that. I know if he would just go to the bathroom once outside & we praise him alot & give him a ton of treats he will probably start to make the connection. Wish me luck.....
I will let you know how we do this weekend.:)
