My spouse's parents had a female dobie years ago that had been badly abused and left with heartworms by her previous owners. They bought her from them and had her treated for heartworms then got her up to a normal weight. She was an excellent dog and extremely intelligent with lots of love to give. I've heard that there is a german breeder of dobies that has an excellent line with drive and beautiful structure but I can't remember who they said the person was offhand. |
