Several!
"Oh dear. I'm very sorry. We'll certainly miss your company."

"This is Mae's home. Sadly, it's your choice to decline our company, as that would include Mae as well."

"Really? What ever for? We've been working on her CGC, so she'll have a certificate to proove she has better manners than a good number of humans, I know."

"That's OK. We'll be busy training her for agility (obedience, rally-o, carting, etc.) We won't have as much time for company anymore."

"Well, you think about it, then. We'll invite you next year for Mae's birthday get together, just in case you change your mind."

"Oh my! <cover the dog's ears> Mae, darlin', did you hear that? Maligned before you've had a chance, you poor thing."

"Yeah, right! She's a teddy bear in a Rott'n-bull suit, eh? Tell me now, wasn't your great-great-great uncle hanged for horse theiving? That's guilt by association too. You plannin' on thievin' some horses, Bub?"

Or, last but nor least... "Yeah? Send pictures, then. So I don't forget what you look like."

Have fun! This girls is an athlete. Best get her a cart and a harness and let her pull a kid or two down the street.
