| On pages 198 and 199 in the Complete Rottweiler by Muriel Freeman has the description and diagrams on how to massage the ears. Ears will "fly" during teething and if the ears are small or light(thin) they will continue to fold the wrong way and stay that way if the ears are not corrected. I have a bitch like that.
Age is important. If the puppy is between 4 and 7 months old there is good chance at correcting it. Right now I have a seven month old puppy that has big, but very thin ears. One is being very stubborn about folding in. I have been massaging and taping it with weight. From 5-6 months the massaging and weight would correct it for a day or so, but then it would fold if he was under stress. Right now I have his ear taped and weighted with four washers at the end.
