| Re: What Style of Crate? I perfer the collapsable (easier to manage) wire crates, with an adjustable wire panel to make the crate smaller during puppy days.
I have the ones with a door on the end and one on the side. They are are sized to fit in my jeep.
Reasons?
My dogs seem to enjoy the view! And I like to see them as well. I like to see what's inside in the way of toys, or if they came in with muddy feet and I have to clean the tray.
Some people like the more enclosed versions. Perhaps they seem more like "real dens." I don't know. But I do know mine can be covered! In fact, those heat reflecting/retaining mylar blankets are used at shows all the time, if outdoors.
At indoor conformation shows and in the interest of space, it is required that the crates are stackable.
