If you ever end up in the hospital without warning, or on bedrest make sure you have an appropriate, well thought out backup plan for your dog that can be implemented without warning. I'm lucky I had one set up in advance, but if I hadn't I'd be in big trouble right now figuring out how to feed, let out to potty and give Orion exercise.

While I'm not allowed to get out of bed and in and out of the hospital, I have the assurance that Orion is getting her walks, her ball games and watched properly. And when evening falls, she's lying at my side dreaming the dreams of a happy tired dog.
