Ok , so I think i've found the other part of the problem , the cage itself seems to be an issue . It seems I need to clean the metal cage itself , so I took it out of the house and the smell seems to be going away, going to give it a good hosing plus I gave him a good bath today ( blow dryer this time) and now he doesn't smell. I just need to put him in an environment that doesn't smell , seems his coat absorbs scents in the surrounding area especially in a basement with poor ventilation . The saga continues :) |
