yup it's just a wide blade and does cut a bit of coat. When hand stripping setter coats a 10 blade is what we used to smooth the back coat after stripping
The furbuster has slightly pointy teeth like a real blade and the furminator has slightly blunted teeth but it's still a bit sharp.
