The attachments haven't been approved yet. Gretchen had something similar happen to her when she was a puppy. It didn't seem to bother her, but the top of her nose looked weird for a few days.
I have woods at the edges of my yard and Gretchen would always have her nose in the fallen leaves and underbrush. I've seen moles, vols, lizards, field mice, etc. I can't remember why, but the speculation at the time was that Gretchen offended a lizard.
