Please do not overfeed your puppy. It's so much better for a puppy to grow slow and steady and not be overfed.
You may be facing orthopedic problems in the future by overfeeding him.
4 cups of food is way too much for a 4 month old puppy when feeding Canidae. Canidae is a high calorie food...and this is too many calories.
I would feed 3 to 3 1/2 cups in total to your pup. A nice slim pup is so much better. He will reach his genetic weight when he is supposed to.
