She doesn't need correction. She just needs you to be consistent in what you do at this point. She doesn't want to go back in the crate (can't blame her). But she has to, so be no nonsense about it - but not punitive. I suggest a few safe toys for only this time. If they are totally of a plastic nature, spread some peanut butter on them. A filled Kong with part of her breakfast could also be used. Put her in her crate with a specific command for this time of day. Tell her when you will be back, and then walk away.
