Re: my female rottweiler is shy~

If she doesn't like the leash, start working with her inside the house with the leash. Put the leash on her and let her drag it around. Keep supervising her so she doesn't get caught or tangled to any furniture or doorways. She'll get use to having the leash on her. (Personally, I would give her a treat every time I clip the leash on her collar so she starts associating the leash with good things.)

When she's use to having the leash on her, start holding the leash and restraining her. If she knows her "sit" command, give her the command. As soon as she sit's give her the treat. Work with her gradually walking her around INSIDE the house. Don't forget to tell her how good she is and give her pets and praise and OCCATIONALLY treats. Start doing her obedience training ON LEASH every day.

When she's comfortable doing this inside without any problems, start taking her outside around the house. Don't go too far from the house. As each day passes, start walking away from the house, going a little further each day. And don't forget the TREATS!

If she stops in her tracks, don't let her go back. Just have her "Sit and stay". Give her a treat, then continue. After a short distance you can go back but only when YOU are ready. Remember, baby steps (unless she has improoved that much while working with her on leash inside the house and in the yard). If you have to stop and have her "Sit and stay" a few times to keep the same distance each day then do so, but never decrease the distance of the walk.

Leave your other dog at home when you start taking her outside. If you have someone to help you, and you want to take the other dog, have the other person with the other dog walk infront of you, maybe Goldy will want to follow.

This is just something I would try. I'm sure someone else might have a better idea.
