Yes, Canidae is MUCH better then any supermarket brand! It's probably the best premium dog food for the price. The only problem with it (and probably any dog food) is that it's not for every dog. From what I've heard it's great to have a food rotation every 3 months, so long as his stomach can handle it.

I'm actually about to switch my pup off Canidae, her stool is to soft for my liking... when I pick it up in grass it kind of falls apart, like grainy. Was his stool the same way? I know you earlier mentioned anal gland problems, I'm pretty sure my girl has none of those signs.
