Actually Tylenol (with codine) is being used more regularly on a limited basis. Tylenol with coedine was one option for our dog if he didn't tolerate the Tramadol. However, the testing and checkups would have been more frequent. Anyhow, it was something that we discussed with UW Madison Oncology at length, which if nothing else, is a very knowledgable facility. All drugs have risks, but there is a place for many drugs usage despite the possible risk when used under the care of a vet.
