Well, if it were me, knowing how strong a drug Phenobarb is, I would wait and see if she has another seizure before putting her on it.

We waited with Jager until she had 3 seizures in a 2 week span because before that it was once a month, which did not require meds.

If it is the carpeting, I would expect they should dissipate and not come back .... so I think it is worth waiting IMO. A week or two is not a big deal to hold off if she doesn't, in fact, need the meds at all.
