You don't have to 'fear' anything.Consistant training and leadership will prevent you have to fear.Fact you noticed the chance in behavior(and have the balls to ask about) proves you are on the right track.Just keep going on.
There is a class at my work with my favorite instructor starting on the 15th, so I think we might join that one to get us back into the habit of practicing a little more often
