I asked my vet about hip problems in rotties and she said that it is hard to truly diagnose it when they are younger than one year or two because the hip sockets in rotts don't fuse until then.My boy Honda is clumsy as well and has had his back legs go like a spread eagle thing and yelped in the meantime and I had to help him sit back up straight again.that has happened twice now.His back end seems to sway as well when he walks (that could be normal though).I don't mean to hijack your thread i am just concerned now because i didn't think much of it til i read this post.good luck with your pup,she needs you now more than ever.God bless.
