Well, although Phenobarb is a narcotic and can be somewhat mood altering initially (my old girl fell a few times and was VERY sleepy the first 2 weeks), it has completely controlled Jager's seizures now for over 9 months.

It is a hard drug on the liver and what I have done is put Jager on Milk Thistle the entire time she has been on phenobarb as it helps maintain liver function.

I too, and 'hoping' all this is is some kind of seizure activity as Nisha can absolutely maintain a pretty much completely normal life on anti-seziure meds ....
