Thought y'all deserved an update:
It seems all the arguing and whining was moot. I took over the Tosa last night and decided to hell with it, no need to get stressed out because of dogs being dogs - left them both unrestrained in my fenced yard overnight and when I came out this morning (didn't hear a yelp/bark all night, by the way) both were not only still alive, they were actually hanging out together....well, they were snoring next to each other...
Come feeding time I got one huge bowl and they actually ate together, no arguments whatsoever.
That Tosa sure eats a lot. At the end of the day after two feedings the 35lb kibble bag was labout 1/5 empty, lol. This is gonna be an expensive coupla months. Time to get some cheaper food - what's the cheapest kibble that won't make them crap like elephants? |
