There is a product called dogzymes, which is a powder mix of different types of probiotics, that I get from natures farmacy. My dog has a somewhat sensitive tummy and I have used this for over a year. He also eats the Canidae lamb meal and rice formula, I give him a scoop of this with each meal, which he gets twice a day. He weighs about 95 lbs and he gets 3 1/2 cups of food daily split into two meals. If I free fed him, I'm afraid he would be farting and pooping constantly.
He was pretty gassy when I got him, and had mushy poo, but after settling on his current food an using the dogzymes daily his tummy has been great.
