I switch cold turkey.
We've been active in Rottie rescue and have fostered adult males for about 10 years. I have no idea what most of those dogs ate in the shelter or were fed by their owners and I don't care. We feed Canidae or CA Nat, so that's what the fosters are fed from the get-go. I've never had a problem.
When I fed kibble, I rotated food to vary the amino acids my dogs were getting. |
