Brutus LOVES socks.
I have never allowed him to play with old socks, shoes, etc. I didn't want to confuse what is his, ie, how would he know it's ok to chew old socks but not new ones.
However, if I drop a sock on laundry day he is more than willing to pick it up for me.
I too worried about him swallowing one.
The socks were the catalyst for teaching "drop it/leave it" at a young age. |
