Re: what age

Around my area, most puppies can start puppy kindergarten as young as 12 weeks old. I had to provide proof of vaccinations and, if old enough (16+ weeks old), proof of a rabies shot.

I'm kind of limited in my class selection too. I've been in classes I didn't much care for, but still tried to get something out of them for me and the dog. For example, my female was about 18 months old and the only class I could find had 11 other dogs in it and their ages ranged from 8 weeks to 7+ years old. The class was trying to teach puppy k, beginning obedience, etc. all in one.

I was bored, but I spent the time in class focusing on Gretchen's "watch me" command and proofing her to be okay around different dogs and not react.
