My female is a little on the small side in a lot of people's opinions. At 4 months (we figure she was 4 mths when I rescued her) she was 29lbs and now at 6 months she is 50lbs even.
Everybody comments on how small her paws and head are for a rotti, but I'm not looking for a giant, I'll take what I get - her disposition is phenominal and that's all that matters right???
You should never judge your rotti based on the size of another dog, be it the same breed or especially not another breed. Rotti's vary in size quite tremendously - at full maturity they can range from 80-120lbs, so there is A LOT of room for variation! Unless she/he isn't eating/drinking/playing like normal, don't worry about it!!! |
