Why do you care if your Rottweiler puppy is smaller than a Malamute puppy? Have you seen an adult Malamute? They are not exactly small .... and tend to make my Rottweilers look teeny at most shows.
A 3 month old Rott pup is typically about 30lbs .... height and weight can vary with lines.
