I'm seeing parasites that infect the brain as being listed as causes of seizures...one obtained through raw meat..I'm just wondering if there are any that can be picked up by swimming in ponds/contaminated water...I remember someone had a thread several months back about their dog contracting something, ultimately died from it...but don't remember the name of the organism or whether that specific one could cause seizures...might ask the vet if that's a possibility, but I'm going to keep looking...just trying to think of ways she could have contracted something. |
