I am so, so sorry that this dreaded day has come. I read about Riley and all of the other OS "kids" in the "vet thread" everyday and saw your pictures of Riley. She is such a beautiful girl. She is so lucky to have had such wonderful parents. My heart sank when I read that you were taking your final trip to the vet today, but you did what was best for her.

I know the pain is unbearable as we had to make this awful decision in February. I still cry at just the thought of him, but mostly now I can think clearly enough to remember all of the good times and the wonderful smiles he brought to our face, and I know with time you will be able to do this too.

Riley is now pain free and running and playing at the bridge until she meets you again. You are in my thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time. RIP Riley.
