Hi there, our lucy is now just over 5 months, This last weekend we took her camping in the mountains, and while on a walk she leaped off a 12 foot cliff, and landed on flat ground. She immedietly started crying and was terrified, she would not let us near her for 5 mins. She was not walking on her one leg for a min or so. Although after a few hours she was playing with another pup at the springs. It has been 2 days and she is limping around. If this keeps up by tomorro i will take her to a vet. My question's are, Could she have broken something and still be walking on it? Will this do any long time harm to her joints? I dont know that much about the hip displacia and so on. Im also not sure wich leg it is, it could be bolth by the way she is limping. Will this heal itself?? She has been jumping up on the couch but we will not let her jump off anything for the meanwhile. She is maybe 50 pounds or lighter. Thanks alot.. !

I'm glad you got her into the veterinarian. He didn't do xray films to take a look at what's going on?

Please heed his advice and crate rest her. Leash walk her as well until you get to the bottom of this.
