Doc was somewhat apathetic and definitely transmitted this trait to his direct offspring to a high degree. He produced one of the most popular sires ever in Rick and now Mambo continues that legacy. Difficult to quantify where this leaves the modern Rottweiler temperament wise, but their collective contribition to improving the breed's exterior qualities is undeniable.
Balou was more erratic in his confromation production but he gave the possibility of transmitting a respectable temperament depending on the bitch he was bred to. |
