i dont believe males completely grow into there bodies till after 3.
They do - not in height, not usually, but in muscle mass (thus weight), rib spring giving them that broad chest, and some weight. You will usually see it in their chest, necks, sometimes rears depending on lines.

My old guy was 105lbs in his prime, 25 inches tall. He was this weight/height at 13 months old, BUT, his pictures from 12 months to 3 years, stacked, sitting, head shots, are VASTLY different. His collar size went from a 24inch at 12 months to a 26inch at 2 years, and it was a buckle collar so it had nothing to do with the size of his head, it was all his neck. He was also intact, which I believe makes a HUGE difference in how and WHERE a male grows (ie .... out and not UP).

Lines are very different in how they mature.

Ruckus's dad is now just turned 3 and what a difference from 18 months until now, in just how I described my old guys changes. He is not taller or much heavier but he has most certainly matured out.

So, I guess clarifying a male 'growing' until 3 or so should be more accurately described as maturing and filling out.
