I don't know what could have caused the flare up. We live in the mountains and he has had cabin fever, we have had to have a close eye on him lately. There is a creek in our back yard with a culvert that goes under the road and if he knows your not watching we will sneak through it and play and more than likely scavenge for something to eat. I thought he had gotten over the eating feces thing, unless he got smart enough to do that behind our backs as well(he is very smart).

There have been flare ups in the past and we fast him for a minimum of 12 hours then go back to rice with little protein and he is usually good within a 2 days. Lots of the time he will not show interest in food while he is sick. I thought maybe that yesterday the vomit was due to lack of food and he just need something to settle the stomach acid but, he would not even try to eat. Plus all the vomit from the first night was his dinner with the rice and protein undigested.

We are eagerly awaiting a phone call to the vet, it is still a little early(5:40am). But I will keep his condition posted.
