HOWEVER, some people didn't realize that wearing a spiked collar creates a stronger issue than just that. For those of us that are very concerned about the future of the breed, a lot more needs to be explained about the collar (and I apologize for not explaining more in my original replies). Since then, many knowledgable people have explained how these spiked collars add to the problems facing the rottweiler that we enjoy owning. If people want to own this great breed, then they have a responsibility to keep that dog in a manner that does not add fuel to the fire to take them away. It's that plain and simple.
