I remember Kaeleigh having gas -- her stomach would sound like a drum sometimes, but her only vomiting seemed to be when her stomach was empty. All our flare-ups were of the diarrhea kind. I do know that the flare-up would make Kaeleigh look in pain or at least really not feeling well, and last from a few hours to a day or so until we got it back under control. The worst one was when she ate some wild animal poop at the cottage. We contacted our vet and monitered her closely, fed her a "safe" diet, and waited for her to come around. She did in a few agonizing hours (had it been much longer we would have found a local vet to take her to) and then was fine. Flare-ups are such scary things. It seems like you have done all the right things though. Any idea what caused the flare-up?
