I am not back peddling here so please dont get me wrong, but after reading more informative posts (not ones just getting stuck into a person for their taste) here and actually finding out WHAT a spiked collar was made/used for, I can see why it would be in the best interests of our breed not to use them.

I honestly never knew they were used for protection against other dogs in fights, I honestly thought they were an extention of the handlers taste (not a taste that everyone will like). Jett has a simple black collar for everyday use and a correction collar which is required for training at the rotty club and on saturday training.
